Tirana is the best month for outdoor events. Tirana is full of tourists. Springtime is the best period to visit Tirana, and the results are visible everywhere in the city, especially in the city center. Outdoor activities are also frequent, and Dajti Mount is the highlight. The weather is just perfect, reaching 30 degrees. You can even swim in the nearby beaches or swimming pools.

Events in MAY 2026

The 1st of May is a National Holiday. Usually, this day is a kind of celebration for families, and it is not a day of protest like in other countries. 1st of May is a day when everyone celebrates spring, enjoying nature and good cuisine. From 2nd May, the International Jazz Festival this year will be in Tirana, not in Shkodra. The great event is planned to be held at the Art Academy. On 9 May, another event within the framework of Heritage is Our Brand Project will be held at Shanti Kids. An Expo Fashion show, based on the legends of Albanian history, curated by the well-known stylist and designer Anila Zajmi Katanolli.

What to do in May

The Adventure Park in Dajti will open from May until October. This is a good time to go to Dajti with the Cable Car, and then you can enjoy the Adventure Park, especially with your kids and teens. It is a perfect place for them. On 2 and 3 May, a significant event occurs in Dajti Mount: Locked in Paradise, Music, Nature and Magic in Dajti National Park. In the heart of the mountains of Tirana, where magical views stretch to the horizon, Dajti Paradise transforms into a musical oasis with passionate electronic rhythms.
