Tirana Photo Festival 2020

The event is organized by DMO Albania, a Destination Management Organization, and supported by the Municipality of Tirana and Fujifilm Albania. The event aims to promote tourism through photography by engaging mainly young people.

The festival’s jury was led by well-known photographer Mr. Roland Tasho and other photographers like Gent Shkullaku, Albert Cmeta, and Armand Sallabanda.

The awarding ceremony was organized at the stairs of the National History Museum in Scanderbeg Square due to COVID-19 to respect the distance.

The winners of “A Photo for Life’ with photos from Albania

Telvisa Hysi  1st prize supported by Fujifilm Albania, gets an  XT-20 Fuji camera

Ilir Shyti  2nd prize supported by Fujifilm Albania gets a XF10 Fuji

Granit Temaj 3rd prize, supported by Fujifilm Albania, gets an Instax camera

Klaudio Spirollari, won “The most voted by the public” supported by Instax Emotions

Encouraging Prizes:

Sabian Hasani, supported by Irisoft Education, a free Photoshop course, 250 Euro

Klevisa Lici,  supported by Irisoft Education, is a free Photoshop course, 250 Euro

The exhibition also hosts a photo series from professional photographers Rozafa Shpuza, Roland Beqiraj, and Arber Xhafa. The Exhibition was opened from 23-31 October and saw many visitors despite the pandemic. According to Museum employees, on average, 50 people would visit the exhibitions daily.
