14 March is one of the biggest celebrations in Albania. It is the Summer Day, which, from year to year, is turning into the most significant holiday all over the country.
This day symbolizes the end of Winter and the beginning of Spring. Some beautiful rituals for this day include spring bracelets called “Verore,” traditional desert Ballokume, and other food specialties cooked specially for this day.

Activities will start at 10:00 with events for kids, and then several cultural events, such as dance, music, and face painting, will follow all day.

A food market will open across the main boulevard, where local products can be bought.

The festivities will be concentrated at Skanderbeg Square, central Boulevard, Parku Rinia, and the Pyramid.
