Lola- Ballet show in Tirana

“Lola” – a ballet about love, betrayal and revenge, returns to the TKOBAP stage after 25 years. Against the backdrop of the Spanish people’s struggle against the French occupation, the story of Lola unfolds, a beautiful, strong girl caught in a whirlwind of feelings and sacrifice.

In a mountain village in Catalonia, the annual harvest festival is interrupted by the shadow of the occupation.

The love between Pablo and Lola is put to the test, while jealousy, pride and war separate their paths. Consuela falls into the hands of the French, Minguell vacillates between wealth and conscience, while the partisans rise up in the mountains for freedom. Lola enters the French camp with a clear mission, revenge.

With courage and determination, she fulfills her oath, turning personal pain into a collective call. With music by Sergei Vasilenko and a powerful choreographic language, “Lola” comes as a dramatic ballet, where passion of love collides with the flames of war and a woman becomes the central figure of resistance. A story that comes during the Women’s March, centering on female strength, dignity, and sacrifice.
