“Librat e Dritës” is an animated short film project by Andamion Murataj that brings to life the legendary rescue of the Berat Codices through the symbolic story of Skuripeku, an ordinary citizen who risks everything to protect these priceless manuscripts from invading forces. Blending historical research with contemporary animation techniques, the project celebrates Albania’s cultural heritage while making the story of courage, identity, and the preservation of knowledge accessible and engaging for young audiences and international viewers.
