We are very happy to present the first artistic creation within the framework of the “Heritage is Our Brand” project grant scheme, implemented by DMO Albania and EU Policy Hub and funded by the European Union. And what better way to start than with children, with the youngest who will embrace tradition and continue to carry it forward..

A Musical with songs and games for children, a total of 12 games and 12 unique compositions by composer Endri Muçaj. These compositions are performed for the first time as the author’s creation, while the children play the old games on stage, from Dembeli, Karamele Zana, Loja me Peta, Loja me Litar, Lule Dele, Shi shi Babashi, roza rozina, hapa dollapa, kala dibrançe, ne jemi shqiponjat, etc.

Albanian folk games are a vivid testimony to a rich and creative culture accompanying entire generations. In the absence of modern toys or advanced technology, Albanian children and youth invented games played in open spaces — be those courtyards of homes, green meadows or the narrow lanes of villages and small towns. These games were not merely a pass time, but a means of cultivating social bonds and cooperation, as well as physical and mental agility.
