It offers us an intimate look at often ignored, overlooked, invisible lives and does so through an exploration of people’s resilience and the search for meaning in human existence. The photographs and videos selected for their show interact with and publicize an exploration of the social themes, from individual struggles to the larger movement of life, that shape our world.

The entire exhibition has been conceived site-specific, adapting the environment to the context of the Gallery of Contemporary Art Tirana, the former Pyramid of Tirana and beyond, the Albanian society. The exhibition aims not only to show the socio-political landscapes of our time, but also to provoke thought and dialogue, calling on visitors to consider their role in society. Bringing together photography and video in a contemporary way, and further with a full program of meetings between artists and lectures, the exhibition highlights what is innovative today in the visual arts and how social artists document images but also attempt the whole world. . around them.

The exhibition will be open from September 3 to October 10, 2024.
