This exhibition presents the journey and artistic portrait of an artist who spent an entire lifetime moving between painting and cinema, between the real landscape and the imagined world of film. While the media and functions of his works may vary, one element remains constant: Nini’s unwavering belief in drawing as the most direct means of understanding the world.
The essence of Kleo Nini’s oeuvre is not found in a single painting, a series of sketches, or a film poster, but in his continuous need to draw, sketch, and paint without interruption.
The exhibition is dedicated to the work of Kleo Nini, one of the most representative figures of Albanian art before the 1990s, renowned for his dual artistic career as a film painter at Kinostudio and as a landscape painter.
