Trains- The railway network consisted of about 470 km of single track and all trains in Albania were supplied with diesel. Train travel was affordable but generally considered slower than other means of transportation.
The first standard railway line in the country was built in 1947 (Durrës-Peqin).
Now the new boulevard stands above it.
A boulevard that does not continue to the end, but in the side streets connects the boulevard with the rest of the city. There are spaces for walking, running, a bicycle lane and a recreation area for citizens.
