Mother Teresa Hospital (known as QSUT- Qendra Spitalore Universitare Nene Tereza) is the main state-owned hospital in Tirana, Albania. It is currently the largest medical center hospital located in the country and is named after Mother Teresa, who was of Albanian origin.
It has capacity of more than 1400 beds and there are 2500 employees working on the hospital. Yearly the hospital provides ambulatory healthcare services to about 150,000 people, hospital care for over 60,000 people and emergency service for about 200,000 people.
It is located in the north-east part of Tirana and occupies an area of 165,000 m2. Most of diseases as well as surgery interventions are offered here.
