Exhibition

Industrial heritage: a 'fragile' resource that needs to be improved - from knowledge to appropriate and sustainable reuse.
The exhibition aims to show examples of industrial areas built in the first half of the 900s, a historical moment in which relations between Italy and Albania were consolidated and had a new impetus starting in 1990. In fact, it dates back to 1924 the signing in Rome of a "trade and navigation treaty" and an "establishment agreement", and starting from 1925 a decisive development of economic relations between the two states, regulated by two agreements, the first of which gave the "Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane - Italian State Railways" an area of 47,213 hectares for oil exploration and extraction, the second in which "Gruppo Finanziario Italiano - Italian Financial Group" undertook the creation of the "National Bank of Albania" and the "Society for Economic Development of Albania" (Svea). With these, Italy showed its intention to bring to Albania the contribution of its experience, initiative and capital to support Albania on the path of economic progress, through the creation of essential bases for the assessment of its resources undiscovered.
