What the film “The fabulous world of Amélie” was for Paris, “Cleo” is for Berlin: Almost overflowing with ideas, we follow Cleo the treasure hunter through a seemingly enchanted city in search of the treasure of the master criminals Sass. A big city fairy tale told with a lot of humor and bizarre minor characters from the past, romantic, playful and at the same time a declaration of love for Berlin.
The film, which is particularly suitable for young viewers (aged 6 and over), won the award for best children's and youth film at the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Film Festival in 2019. The Goethe Center is presenting the film as part of the German October.
