A classical music concert is set to open this year’s 11th edition of the German October events in Albania which will again showcase a month of cultural events, including Art exhibitions, movies, literary events and theatrical performances, music and workshops. To mark a festive opening of the German October, the German Embassy and the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet will stage Brahms’s work A German Requiem as an Albania-German co-production at Tirana’s Orthodox Cathedral on Sept 30. The choir and orchestra of the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet will perform under the baton of the renowned German conductor Ekhart Wycik.
