Simulation Game International Migration and Global Development

Simulation Game is the latest addition to the MUN Albania Initiative alongside MUN Lab and MiniMUN. Regardless its peculiarities, Simulation Game remains an educational emulation of the decision-making organs of the United Nations. During this 3-day long event, 50 selected participants will have the chance to walk into a diplomat's shoes, discussing one of the most pressing issues faced by the international community: International Migration and Global Development.

Against the international controversy surrounding the Global Compact for Migration, and aware of the importance of discussing the implementation of Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development, we have decided to simulate the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF), as we believe they are key structures in further advancing the international community efforts.

Much to our delight, foreign youth delegates to the United Nations will join the event during the first day for a round table discussion with the participants on the topic and the UN.

Simulation Game is held entirely in English and offers everyone the opportunity to develop skills in this language and to learn diplomatic jargon.
The roles that can be played are those of a delegate/minister of a country, chairperson, and journalist. At the end of the conference, delegates will be equipped with certificates of participation.

The call for applications closes on 17 May.
