Raining and bad weather in the last week of March and in the begining of April is something related to a story in Albania. This period is called the “April Witches” and there is a legend behind it. The story says that after the winter is gone, some old women climbed to a mountain and yelled: ‘Goodbye Winter, Go in hell’. It was April, but the winter decided to come back. April he asked February to give some days to freeze the old women just to remind them that the winter is stronger than them, and is a natural phenomenon they should respect. The women died from the cold, and then the spring came again. So every April there are 3-7 days where the cold comes back, it may be raining or even snowing in some area, and after that period the summer comes at its fullest.
(Note: This is a story to remind you that this week is going to be a little bit cold and rainy)
