History

But things changed after ’90, when the story of St Valentine became known. People start to celebrate massively as in socialist parades, and not in the right intimate way. On this day many couples took the day off and went to the Artificial Lake, staying by the lake, kissing each other and the main gift were the flowers. They are still a hit on the day.

The way of celebrating has changed though during years. Some do celebrate the love in a romantic way, in a special dinner, in a special hotel, exchanging gifts. While some others just declare that: Valentine is every other day of the year for them.
