What to do in October in Tirana

Welcome October! It’s the month when the weather cools down in the mornings and evenings you need a light jacket. When strolling around the city becomes so tempting with a takeaway coffee. The main attractions of the city can be easily explored on foot such as the Skanderbeg Square, Clock Tower, Et’hem Bey Mosque and Tirana Castle. Locals enjoy having a warm drink at the Pedestrian Street “Murat Toptani”, the perfect place to watch the world goes by.

Tirana Photo Festival (8-15 October 2021)

Tirana Photo Festival, the biggest photography event in Albania organized by DMO Albania & Visit Tirana. The festival will be held from 8 to October 15th. On 8 October it will be the award ceremony and the opening of the exhibition. This festival is sponsored by.

Tirana Marathon, 5^th Edition

 The Municipality of Tirana has announced that the Tirana Marathon will be organized on October 17. Tirana Marathon is the biggest sporting event of the year. Theatrical performances and other events

The Opera and Ballet Theater has opened the new curtain after restoration which was inaugurated in September. The theaters of the city have opened the new artistic season and various performances follow.

This month is expected to bring new exhibitions through the city galleries. At the National Gallery of Art you can see the "gallery collection over the years".

Those who want to learn more about the history of Albania, can visit the National Historical Museum, the Museum of Leaves, as well as the Museum House of Ismail Kadare.
