What to do in July in Tirana

Tirana in July is less populated during the daylight hours due to the high temperatures and because many people are heading to coastal cities. But that does not mean that Tirana isn’t lively, in the late afternoon and in the evenings, Tirana has a fantastic atmosphere, in the "Skanderbeg" square you see families walking around the square, young people sitting at the Europa Park.

The Artificial Lake Park is another destination for the long summer nights, where people can enjoy the cinema under the stars.

The Amphitheater of Tirana almost every day is busy with concerts, ballet shows or other entertainment activities for families. On July 5, at 20:30, will be held "Meet at Moulin Rouge” ballet show with the world-renown ballet dancers.  

While on July 6, the French dance and circus troupe "Un Loup pour l'Homme" comes to Tirana to present an amazing spectacle at the Amphitheater of Tirana.

For art-lovers, the retrospective exhibition of “Kolë Idromeno” is an interesting exhibition displaying the works of the Albanian painter, sculptor, architect, photographer, cinematographer, composer and engineer during the Albanian Renaissance in the nineteenth century. The exhibition is displayed on the National Gallery of Arts.

Summer nights become more interesting at Reja. During July, every Tuesday there are screened movies with the greatest Italian actresses.

You can enjoy all the parks with your family or walking afternoon. You can stop somewhere for the best ice-cream  in Tirana.

For weekends you can cool off summer at Erzeni Canyon, Syri i Ciklopit, lakes etc.  Or if you prefer swimming pools here is the list. If you like the sea and sand you can go in Durres coastal city, just 25 minutes from Tirana.
