Tirana celebrated New Year with fireworks show

Tirana celebrated the New Year in a festive atmosphere followed by a fireworks spectacle in the heart of the city, at Skanderbeg Square. Hundreds of people gathered at the square to see the New Year Concert with Albanian singers, and the show of fireworks as well. The concert started in 22.30 in 31th of December with singers: Evi Reçi, Ardit Çuni. Alban Nimani, West Side Family, Eneida Tarifa, Eranda Libohova, Sidrit Bejleri, Flor Mumajesi, Klajdi Haruni & Bruno DJ and DJ Vini.

Many people welcomed the New Year 2019 outside in the square, wishing and hugging each other for more health and success in the new year. Mayor of Tirana Mr Erion Veliaj addressed the citizens in the midnight. He said the Tirana is the city of all Albanians, and he promised that that Tirana will be a better city in 2019.

Most of people spent the last night of 2018 at home, dining with their family, and in the midnight they went to Skanderbeg Square to see the fireworks show and after that continued to bars to drink and dance until the morning of 1^st January.
