Autumn is already here. If you plan to visit Tirana during October you will see the real beauty of Autumn. The weather is sometimes warm, and sometime raining, but the city is lively more than ever.  Universities starting the academic year, so many students from all over Albania are coming to Tirana. October is fantastic time for outdoor activities, walks, concerts in open areas etc. This is the most beautiful month of autumn so you can admire the riot of autumnal colours. Tirana parks change the colours from green to gold, red and yellow. The most preferred thing to do in October are outdoor activities, walking in the nature amid fallen leaves, while in weekends you can do picnics, or traveling in villages outside Tirana such as Pellumbas, Farka, etc.  Tirana Marathon 2018, planed in 7 October is the main massive sport event, which is organized for third time in Tirana, where hundreds of people, especially younger generation expected to participate. 

Every day and every weekend you can be part of festivals and events organized not only by the Municipality, but also from different organizations in the city. The most popular event is Halloween. You can feel the atmosphere in Tirana’s streets where vendors are selling decorated pumpkins. There are many festivals organized in streets, in Trade Centers, and restaurant or bars, where people like to wear scary outfits and enjoy moments with friends.
