Earth Day, activities in Tirana

Earth Day is celebrated worldwide on 22 April. This day is set in 1970, when 20 million Americans participated in environmental demonstration, which was called "Earth Day." It is celebrated in more than 192 countries with festivals, competitions and environmental activities. More than 1 billion people participate in Earth Day campaigns every year.
