The hottest month is here! But still the tourists are flocking in Tirana in July. Our monthly guide will show recommendations on what to see & do, what are the biggest events in the city and how to enjoy our city like locals. Read more!
Tirana Photo Festival 2019 is the biggest Photography Festival in Albania. To make this event bigger and unforgettable we need the support of new sponsors. Inside the villa of Enver Hoxha -soon to be open for the public

The Guardian has published an interesting article written by the journalist Shaun Walker, after his visit to the "fascinating, creepy" villa of former dictator Enver Hoxha. 
The villa is located in the Blloku area in Tirana, where the dictator lived from 1975 until his death in 1985.

 Kolë Idromeno- the retro exhibition of the great Albanian painter

A retrospective exhibition of one of the best painter Albanian has ever had, Kole Idromeno, was opened on 27 June at National Art Gallery in Tirana. Many people, including the Ministers of Culture and Education, artists, painters, journalists attended the opening ceremony.

Visit Tirana announced on June 10th, the winners of photo contest #TiranaSpring2019. A record number of photos was posted on Instagram, more than 1500 photos. Eriola Postoli, Enida Paluka and Hysen Xhebexhiu were the three winners.

'75 years from Greek genocide against Chams' exhibition

Rare images from the Greek Genocide against Cham population were displayed on exhibition at the hall of the National History Museum. In remembrance of the people who lost their lives in 1944. 27th of June is declared the day of genocide against Cham Albanians by Greek chauvinism.
